’Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable’ is a quote that resonates with Detonator and can be heard in the way he creates sonic blends of various influences, ranging from his Punjabi background to his passion for Hip-Hop and Electronic music, among others.

Since 2016, Detonator has established himself as a versatile Music Producer who always has an air of unpredictability and mystery. Introducing himself to the world through his Grime instrumentals, Detonator quickly expanded to Rap instrumentals and Electronic cuts, as well as exploring various other genres.

​

As a Beatmaker, Detonator has worked with the likes of: VITAL, Fudz, Big Tobz, Deep Green, HY, Potter Payper, Remtrex, RV (OFB), Sho Shallow, Stardom and Trapson, to name a few.

​

Alongside his ventures as a Beatmaker, Detonator has also been working on a myriad of solo projects and singles. Setting the foundations in 2016 with his aptly titled ‘Indian Summers EP’, Detonator continued to add to his discography with his ‘The Remixes’ series and many other EPs, as well as his 2019 debut album, ‘Sometimes, I Hate Myself’.

Detonator has also been continually adding to his ‘DTZ’ series, in which he released a fully produced song every week from late 2021 into mid 2022.

Now, Detonator finds himself at the helm of his sonic playground and is consistently releasing music as a solo artist featuring other talented musicians, a featured artist and also a beatmaker.
